YOUR CONTENT, IN CONTEXT

What happens when you analyze content

In live mode, clicking Analyze sends your text or original image through our server to our detection provider for processing. Images are sent directly as encoded bytes; this flow does not publish images to a public CDN. The interface labels live scans and demos before you submit. Video and unconfigured detection modes run simulated reports in your browser.

Storage and third-party processing

Our scan endpoint handles submitted text and image files in memory and does not save those inputs to our database or object storage. We store normalized scan reports, a digest of the input, request IDs and credit transaction records with your account. Reports include scores and passage positions, not the submitted text or image bytes. These records let us recognize retries without charging twice. Live scans currently use a third-party detection provider, which receives the submitted content for processing. Contact [email protected] for details about the current provider and its data handling before submitting sensitive content. Image metadata embedded in the original file is included in that submission. We do not include raw metadata such as location coordinates in our reports.

Clearing the checker removes input and results from the interface. This does not retract a request already received by the provider. Downloaded JSON reports remain on your device until you delete them. Built-in samples are downloaded from this website when selected.

Accounts and website requests

Live scans require an account. When you sign in, the identity provider handles authentication, and the app can store your account name, email, profile image and session information. Authentication uses cookies. Your theme preference is stored locally.

Hosting services may log ordinary website requests. Optional analytics can be enabled by the operator; this checker does not add input text, files or report contents to analytics events. The scan service uses process-wide counters to limit requests; it does not retain submitted content in these counters.
